What are you learning this summer?

Fairfield Union has compiled a list of 2024 summer camps and programs for students in grades K-12.  There is a wide variety of options from all over the state of Ohio. We hope this list encourages all students to attend camp and extend their learning.

Air Camp

Grades 7-9 Intensive one-week schedule and unique curriculum that puts science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in the context of aviation and aeronautics.

B-Wiser Science Camp for girls (residential)

Foreign Language Camp (Camp OFLA)

Grades 3-8 Residential elementary foreign language camp. Learn in small class settings then practice it by cooking, dancing, singing, playing, hiking and arts and crafts activities. Eat and sleep in like- language groups. Offers one week with several different language choices.

MD Camp

Grades 10 -12 The Ohio State University College of Medicine: MD Camp, sponsored by the Area Health Education Center is a three-week summer day camp providing participants an experience in the rigors of medical school.

Musking University - Virtual Summer Enrichment Camp

Open to students who are entering grades 3-7 for the 2024-2025 school year and are identified as gifted.
Several 50-minute sessions will be offered, July 15-18 (Mon. - Thurs.), 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Our team of licensed teachers, all of whom are completing the Gifted Intervention Specialist (GIS) Endorsement Program, will create interesting and mind-stretching Virtual Camp sessions. This FREE camp requires internet access and the ability to join Zoom sessions. Any materials needed for sessions will be general household items.

Once the details are finalized (end of June), a registration link will be sent to everyone that expressed interest. Campers will have the option of attending any or all sessions offered. A student does not need to attend every hour of every day of camp.

The OSU School of Music offers a diverse series of summer programs. Resident programs with commuter options. Specifically designed to further students' understanding of – love for – music. Various programs by instruments or voice, group or band.

Grades 10-11 Two-week program working in Center Summer Institute; small peer teams to use (residential) supercomputers for practical applications to solve complex math, science and engineering problems.


OWjL Camp at Ohio Wesleyan University (residential)

Academic camp for students who score in the 95th national percentile in math or reading on measures of academic achievement,or who have otherwise demonstrated exceptional talent, creativity, or leadership.


Robot Academy Amazing Lego Robot Camps (day)

In summer tech camps, students ages 8-14 design, build, and program working LEGO robots (using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 & NXT) and invent contraptions using 3D Modeling/Printing. This is a full STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) experience.

Wright State Univ. Professional Business Institute (residential)

High school students who will be sophomores (grade 10), juniors (grade 11), and seniors (grade 12) in the following academic year should apply. This is a five-day residential business camp where students are exposed to economics, accounting, marketing, finance, management, information system management, and entrepreneurship.

Young Scholars Program (YSP)

Young Scholars Program (YSP), a two-week, fully-funded residential program for seventh and eighth-graders across Ohio on the historic campus of Western Reserve Academy (WRA) in Hudson, Ohio. The program seeks up to 20 current seventh- and eighth-grade students from smaller communities throughout Ohio who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability and genuine intellectual curiosity across a broad range of academic areas.
